Tom is a Huddersfield Architect providing home owner and commercial clients with architectural services ranging from feasibility studies to detailed construction design information. 

Tom grew up in the rural environs of Huddersfield and after completing A Levels at Greenhead College he crossed the Pennines to study Architecture in Manchester. From there his horizons expanded to include spending a sub zero winter working in Moscow at Asadov Architects in 2004 and an Erasmus exchange to study in Helsinki at Aalto Univeristy in 2006.

These experiences have influenced his approach to materialty, especially timber, to off site fabrication, and to a humanistic form of modernism exemplified by Alvar Aalto after exploring both the Soviet Constructivist legacy and it's Finnish counterparts.  

Further experience working in London at Arup Associates and DGA Architects developed his knowledge of the industry. 

He has continued to travel extensively to explore architecture and cities from around the world.
